I laughed a whole lot when I watch this. My eyes are still full of tears.

Am I becoming a luddite?

I rail on how the internet has given some people an inflated sense of importance.  How they can become kings of their castles, lords of their manors, and queens of their dominions.  Whatever floats your boat and theirs.

Now, I am irritated by cell phones.

Admittedly, I have one and it is my sole piece of equipment derived from Alexander Graham Bell’s invention.  There is no need for me to have more than one.  Why spend the money on a landline? Read more »

Ed Bradley

I was up in NH from last night through tonight and watched the 60 Minutes Tribute to Ed Bradley. I have always had a fondness for that news magazine. There is something about it which brings back the memories of growing up, or specifically, Sunday nights. The football games were over. Dinner was done or being prepared. A ticking clock and you were likely to discover you’d never thought about before (or had but an entirely new angle), or you were going to meet someone and leave with, perhaps, more respect for them than you started.
